Paper_Houses Design create unique patterns incorporating fashionable trend forward Scottish style that will last. Inspiration mainly comes from the shapes, structures and textures found in the day to day, especially man made structures. Mhairi is always drawn to geometric shapes, there is something in their simplicity and the fact that they can be found in many forms.

This one woman textile design studio is based in Scotland and was set up by Mhairi McDowall, a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD). A lover a pattern but a hater of selfies -
